The CLK GTR was AMG's answer to the GT1 era's homologation rules, a road-legal supercar built purely to legalise a racing programme, and this Maisto diecast captures its factory-backed 1999 campaign.

Maisto's Diecast Build for a GT1 Subject

The body is zinc alloy, giving the long, low CLK GTR shape real presence in the hand, and the doors and bonnet open to show the mid-mounted V12, a genuine point of interest given how unusual that layout was for a road-derived car. Panel gaps sit wider than premium resin work, and the livery graphics, while legible, lack the sharpest tampo registration of higher-tier makers, an honest limitation at this price.
