Models118 is a specialist online shop for collectable diecast and resin scale model cars, founded in 2021 in Częstochowa, Poland by Katarzyna Tyła. We sell 1:18, 1:43 and 1:12 scale replicas of real cars — from marques such as Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Ferrari and Lamborghini — produced by leading model manufacturers including Minichamps, Norev, GT Spirit and AUTOart. Alongside new releases, we carry a large, carefully chosen selection of used and discontinued models from the secondary market: pieces no longer in production. Every model is a precision replica of a real car, made for adult collectors rather than as a toy. We despatch worldwide from Poland.
Started by a Lifelong Collector
Models118 was founded in 2021 by Katarzyna Tyła, who had collected model cars for nearly three decades — from childhood Bburago and Maisto to museum-quality pieces by Minichamps, CMC and AUTOart. She built the shop she had always wanted: one place for the latest releases from Norev, GT Spirit and AUTOart alongside hard-to-find used models that had slipped out of regular distribution — run by a collector who understands why a discontinued piece can be worth more today than it was when new.
Why “118”?
The name comes from 1:18 — the most popular scale among serious collectors, large enough to capture every detail of the original car, from the stitching on the seats to the brake calipers behind the wheels.
The Models We Stock — and the Ones We Don’t
Models118 specialises exclusively in collectable scale model cars for adult collectors: precision replicas of real cars, made in diecast metal or resin, in 1:18, 1:43 and 1:12 scales. These are not toys. Every model reproduces the original car’s bodywork, interior, engine bay and livery in meticulous detail, and many feature opening doors, bonnets and boots. The catalogue covers the leading automotive marques — Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, Ferrari and Lamborghini among them — produced by specialist model manufacturers including Minichamps, Norev, GT Spirit, AUTOart, Kyosho, IXO, OttOmobile, Almost Real, CMC, BBR, Spark and KK-Scale. Alongside new releases, we hold a large and growing selection of used and discontinued models — out of production and unavailable through normal distribution, often the only way to track down a model a manufacturer stopped making years ago.
What we don’t sell: Models118 does not stock toys, pull-back cars, radio-controlled cars or unlicensed replicas. Every product is a licensed collectable from an authorised manufacturer, intended for adult collectors and display.
Why Collectors Trust Models118
Every model is an original sourced from authorised distributors, and each used model is inspected and described with full condition details and its original packaging status. Orders are despatched in custom-made 5-layer protective cartons sized for scale models, with expanded-polystyrene filling that holds the model in place in transit, so it arrives in the same condition it left the shelf. Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery.
