About the Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor The Walking Dead Greenlight 1:18

TL;DR: GreenLight's 1:18 diecast 1994 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor reproduces the patrol sedan from The Walking Dead. A genuinely 1990s Crown Victoria body, distinct from the later 2001 generation, gets faithful entry-tier reproduction under a well-known TV licence.

The Crown Victoria's long production run means slight generational differences matter to anyone paying close attention, and this 1994 example predates the more rounded restyle that came later.

A Specific Generation, Correctly Identified

Getting the earlier 1990s Crown Victoria body right rather than substituting the more common later restyle shows a level of care that matters to collectors who know the difference between the two. GreenLight's diecast reflects that earlier, slightly more angular front-end treatment, and the entry-tier build delivers straightforward opening features and honest metal weight rather than showroom precision. The Walking Dead connection gives this particular sedan additional context for collectors following the show's vehicle appearances across its long run, a detail that separates it from a generic period patrol car.

Building a Show-Specific Vehicle Collection

Long-running television series often accumulate a genuinely varied vehicle roster across their seasons, and a dedicated collector benefits from tracking that roster piece by piece rather than settling for a single representative car. This Crown Victoria fits that approach well, working alongside other licensed vehicles from the same show to build a more complete picture of its world.
