About the Ferrari F355 Berlinetta Red With Custom Gold Wheels UT Models 1:18

TL;DR: UT Models' 1:18 diecast Ferrari F355 Berlinetta pairs classic red bodywork with custom gold wheels, a distinctive variant of Ferrari's late-1990s mid-engine V8 coupe. It offers a visual break from the standard silver-wheeled F355 diecast most collections already hold.

Red is the obvious colour for any Ferrari model, but the gold wheels on this particular F355 push it away from the expected finish and toward something a collector chooses deliberately rather than by default.

A Familiar Body with an Unusual Detail

The Berlinetta's proportions here are identical to any other F355 diecast from this era, curved haunches, pop-up headlights, and the mid-engine stance that defined Ferrari's entry-level supercars, but the gold wheel finish changes how the whole car reads on a shelf. UT Models applies the same tight panel-gap standard across its F355 line, and red paint in particular shows off that build quality well, since any inconsistency in a saturated colour like Rosso Corsa is immediately visible. The gold wheels catch light differently to standard silver or chrome finishes, adding a warmer accent against the red bodywork that most F355 variants lack.

A Deliberate Variant Choice for Collectors

Custom wheel finishes like this were never a Ferrari factory option, so this variant appeals specifically to collectors who want visual variety within an otherwise uniform F355 lineup rather than a strictly accurate factory reproduction. Placed beside a standard-wheeled F355 in a matching red, the difference is immediate and gives a themed Ferrari shelf a genuine talking point. It works particularly well for a collector already holding multiple F355 variants who wants one piece that stands slightly apart from the rest.
