About the Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow MPW Coupe Oxford Blue Paragon 1:18

TL;DR: Paragon's 1:18 diecast Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow MPW Coupe in Oxford Blue reproduces the coachbuilt two-door Silver Shadow variant, with opening doors and bonnet. This is a used model, and the box shows traces of storage. A refined, coachbuilt-inspired luxury subject for a British classic display.

Mulliner Park Ward's coachbuilt coupe conversion took an already dignified saloon and gave it a genuinely sporting roofline, and Paragon's diecast honours that transformation carefully.

Opening Panels on a Coachbuilt Diecast Coupe

The doors and bonnet on this model open, revealing a cabin and engine bay finished to the standard expected of a car built to Rolls-Royce's own exacting specification. The zinc-alloy construction gives the long, heavy doors the weight and rigidity to swing and settle convincingly, and the Oxford Blue paint carries a deep, glass-like gloss across the coupe's lower, more rakish roofline compared to the standard four-door Silver Shadow. Around the hinges the panel gaps run marginally wider than a sealed body allows, an entirely reasonable trade for the cabin access this level of detail deserves. The traditional Rolls-Royce grille and Spirit of Ecstasy mascot are picked out with the crispness such an iconic detail demands.

MPW's Coachbuilt Silver Shadow Coupe

Mulliner Park Ward, Rolls-Royce's own coachbuilding division, produced a low-volume two-door coupe conversion of the Silver Shadow platform, giving buyers who wanted the marque's engineering and presence in a sportier, more exclusive body. That coachbuilt rarity, produced in far smaller numbers than the standard saloon, gives the MPW Coupe a distinct collector standing within the wider Silver Shadow family.

Where This Silver Shadow Coupe Fits a Collection

This example is used, and its box shows the traces of storage typical of a piece that has spent time on a shelf, with the model itself remaining sound. Displayed alongside standard Silver Shadow saloons or other British luxury marques, the MPW Coupe's rarer coachbuilt roofline gives a collection genuine depth beyond the obvious four-door version.
