The E92-generation M3 GTS stripped weight, added an upgraded engine and wore a fixed rear wing few road cars could justify, becoming one of BMW M's most track-oriented factory specials of its era.

Resin Casting of a Track-Focused Factory Special

Resin holds the GTS's vented bonnet, wide front splitter and towering fixed rear wing with sharper edge definition than a stamped diecast body could achieve. The body is sealed, so the entire model lives on its exterior: the aggressive vents and aerodynamic addenda are cast in fine relief, and shut lines run tight and continuous across the shell. Orange Carbon, the GTS's signature loud finish, carries genuine depth and vibrancy under direct light, exactly the kind of statement colour that suited a car built without much concern for subtlety. Lighter in the hand than a comparable diecast, the casting still conveys the GTS's wide, aggressive stance clearly.
