Resin Casting and the Fixed Body of the Alpine GTA

The GTA's original fibreglass body was itself a composite shape, and resin is arguably the more faithful medium for reproducing it, since both materials favour smooth compound curves over the crisper edges a stamped die produces. As a fixed one-piece casting, this model's low nose, curved rear glass and integrated bumpers read as one continuous form, exactly how the original coupe presented on the road. The white paint sits with genuine depth across those curved panels, and the shutlines around the pop-up headlamps and door edges stay tight and even.
