The W205 brought a sharper, more sculpted look to the C-Class, and Norev's diecast in a bright white finish shows off those creased surfaces particularly well.

The body is zinc alloy, giving the model genuine weight that suits its compact executive proportions. Doors, bonnet and boot all open, allowing cabin, engine bay and boot to be shown individually, and as with any articulated casting the panel gaps run a shade wider than a sealed body could manage, a fair trade for the added access. Diamond White Metallic is a demanding colour to apply evenly, since white shows any unevenness readily, and this casting holds consistent coverage across the C-Class's sculpted side panels and creased shoulder line. The W205's slim headlamp clusters and sharper front grille are picked out with good crispness at 1:18.
